Scooby's popularity was slowly going up through early 1998. I decided to change the name of my site to Scooby Doo Crew 2000 because the old name sounded out of date and 2000 sound cool. But in Summer 1998. BOOM! Scooby Mania struck the world. Now it is Fall 98, and Scooby Mania is huge. It seems everywhere you look you see Scooby. And so many new things are happening Scooby merchindise is everywhere, and there are contests, and CDs, and the BIG things too. Mike Myers is writing a Live Action Scooby Movie. And Hanna-Barbera came back too. With Scooby's newest adventure Scooby Doo On Zombie Island. This movie is being promoted big time with fast food promotions and lots of merchindise, and even a Cartoon Network Wacky Racer. And all this just in time for Scooby's 29th Birthday.
