What followed next was a frightful quest to return the 13 ghosts to the Demon Chest of which Scooby and Shaggy and released them from. This was a very cool series which consisted of 14 episodes. This series also introduced new characters and vehicles. One characted it introduced first was Vincent Van Ghoul a great warlock who knew everything of the 13 ghosts from the Demon Chest and even helped catch them. Another character was Flim Flam Vince's assistant. Sorry but this is the only Scooby character I did not care for, but that was the only series he was in. The next change was that they got rid of the Mystery Machine and brought out The Mystery Machine 2, it was just a big red van with lots of gadgets. More changes were the characters clothes. Shaggy wore a red shirt instead of a green one and Daph wore a explorer type outfit. It stayed that way through out all the following Scooby events. But the 13 Ghosts were not the last ghost that Shaggy, Scrappy, and Scooby encoutered.
